Gateway Mission Center Summer Events
It may be cold and snowy, but it is time to start thinking about summer! This year, there are many opportunities to come together and experience "blessings of community". Our largest gathering, Reunion, and three summer camps are happening at Camp Woodland Hills. We are excited to announce that registration fees have been reduced this year. Thank you to the mission center church members for your ongoing support and generosity! The senior high youth have two meaningful opportunities as well: Brush Creek Sr. High Camp and SPEC! We pray you take advantage of as many of these special events as possible! 
Volunteers Needed!

Volunteering for camps is not just about helping others or accomplishing a task. Serving others is a special part of growing your relationship with God. Whether it's as a camp counselor or behind the scenes, there are many areas at where you can make a difference. You need only a smile and a desire to serve! Contact the event director:

Reunion

Community of Christ Gateway Mission Center members and friends gather together in fellowship and learning experiences at reunions. In this relaxed and casual atmosphere, participants are surrounded by God's beautiful creation, refreshed in their journey with the Lord, and strengthened as a family. Activities and programs for all ages are offered. The registration fee covers lodging, meals & snacks, and all activities and programs.

Faith in Training! Just like exercising is important to our physical body, exercising our faith is important to our spiritual one! Children will learn about wholeness of mind, body, and spirit and why keeping all three in good condition is important to discipleship! 

*Primary Camp (grades1-3) is June 24-25 and a parent may attend with his/her camper.

Gateway Mission Center Sr. High youth will be heading to Brush Creek this year! Brush Creek is a beautiful campgrounds located in Xenia, IL. Gateway Youth Minister, Laurie Decker, can help arrange transportation if needed.

Graceland University

SPECTACULAR is sponsored by Community of Christ and is hosted at Graceland University. SPECTACULAR welcomes all teens who have completed grades 9-12. All campers will have opportunities to participate in leadership and  discipleship development, diverse worship, and expression of arts, music, and sports.Gateway Mission Center youth attend with the Midwest Crossroads Delegation led by Rob and Suzette Ryder

Camperships

Members of the Community of Christ congregations in the Gateway Mission Center may apply for camperships as needed. Applications for Mission Center Camperships are due April 3rd and must be completed through the camper's congregational financial officer. If the campership is approved, a coupon code to be used with online registration will be provided to the camper.

Individual congregations in the Mission Center may wish to further offset the price of camp for its members. Participating congregations will also have a coupon code to be used with online registration. Church members should again contact their congregational financial officer for information.
