The Hiking 101 Philosophy

Building on the success of 2016's Hike 100, our Hiking 101 program is designed to enhance your knowledge of and appreciation for the park's backcountry. Not only will you hike 101+ miles if you join all (or most) of these events, but you'll learn (Hiking 101, get it?) more about how to safely enjoy the park as you explore its lesser-used areas in a group setting.
