DEO groups continue on Mondays and Thursdays
DEO - Discipling Each Other, is a simple practice that has turned out to be surprisingly refreshing and energizing. We meet weekly for an hour; there is no leader or mentor, and it is completely confidential. This kind of mutual discipling provides practical ways to see Christ working in our daily life and in our church. There is a Monday morning group at 9 a.m. and one for women on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Anne Grizzle Ordination
God willing, Anne Grizzle will be ordained into the transitional diaconate on Friday, May 12.

Capital Campaign Underway
The elevator and college ministry room are almost completely funded! Let us look toward to the future of R E Lee Memorial Episcopal Church with the addition of a new organ and renovation of the undercroft. The undercroft renovation will provide a practice space for our choirs, updates and safety measures for the sacristy and rooms for community meetings. This campaign ensures that R E Lee Church will continue to be a welcoming outreach resource to the Lexington Community. Come see the potential of this underused and historic space by attending the Lemonade Brigade in the undercroft on March 12 and 19.

Did you know that R E Lee Episcopal Church hosts 12 outside group meetings every week?

Altar Flowers Donation
If you wish to make a memorial donation in honor/memoriam
of a loved one, please sign up on the Flower Chart on the wall on the bridge and call or email the church office. All Sundays are available in March!

Have you ever considered hosting an Exchange Student?
The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) offers opportunity to local families. By welcoming a student into your home, you make it possible for
members of your community to meet, interact, and learn from
someone from a different culture. We're looking for host families in this area for our students arriving in August. These students have chosen to step outside their comfort zones to be part of new families, schools, and communities and live like American teens!
CIEE Host Families come in all shapes and sizes-kids, no kids, single parents, empty nesters, etc... Many host families find they develop a relationship that lasts a lifetime. Most students come for the entire school year, but some are semester students. Host families can also be a "Welcome Family" and host the student for the first 6-8 weeks.
To learn more about hosting, contact your CIEE Local Coordinator
today: Cindy Miller, 464-3110/817-8851 or at
[email protected]
