Theme: Transportation Timeline LEGO Classes
If you like planes, trains and automobiles, then this unit is for you! Each week, students will build motorized models of a dragster, a railroad crossing gate, an airplane and more. Explore the history of transportation from horse and buggy and trains to the development of the automobile and flight. Each lesson introduces terminology related to each mode of transportation, like "lift and propulsion" for the airplane, as well as describes how each "vehicle" works. And the best part is -- the models are so much fun to play with! Lots of building fun ahead with motorized models of a train, car, dragster and airplane. These models rock, roll and spin! Students will follow our step-by-step model plans to create their vehicle, then, they are encourage to customize it to their own specifications and take their mini-figure for a ride!
Our new B4K after-school LEGO Program will start on Monday April 3rd at Sahuarita School District. Please see below information regarding schools, dates and times.
Copper View classes will start on Monday, April 3rd - May 8th, 2017 from 2:15- 3:20
Sahuarita Intermediate School Classes will start on Wednesday April 5th -May 10th, 2017 from 1 - 2:05 pm (Portable 29)
Anza Trails Classes will start on Thursday April 6th - May 11th, 2017 from 2:30 pm - 3:35 pm (room C149).
Sahuarita Primary School classes will start on Thursday April 6th - May 11th, 2017 from 2:00 -3:05 pm (Teacher's Lounge)
