We're coming through the winter strong now team! Great job to all of our members that competed in races throughout the past month, including great showings at the Massacre Marathon, Northeast Duathlon, and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Trail Half Marathon! We've got another couple of races coming up in March. First up is the first race in the 2017 TTT Race Series, the Hagan Stone Duathlon on March 11. Come on out and take advantage of your first big opportunity to score some points for the race series by racing or volunteering. Second is the Spears YMCA Indoor Tri on March 19, which the TTT is sponsoring! This will be an especially great opportunity for those new to triathlon to do an indoor tri with a shorter distance and a pool swim.

We've also got several volunteer opportunities that we're looking for help with over the course of the year. If you're interested in helping out the TTT and some local race organizers, please try to save these dates and come out and give us a hand. More information will be coming out in later newsletters and on the Facebook group, but for now here are the events and dates that we're looking for volunteers for:

Spears YMCA Indoor Tri - March 19
High Point Sprint Triathlon - August 12
Gibbs Growler Gallup - August 27
CannonBall Marathon/Half/5K - October 14

If you're able to volunteer for any of those, please contact me at TTT.President@gmail.com, or keep your eyes open on Facebook and in future newsletters to see how you can signup and participate. They're going to be great opportunities to help out the local race community, and promote the TTT at the same time.

Keep hoping that the weather stays nice through the Spring race season!
