Through the medium of a PowerPoint Presentation, I will illustrate how I go about creating a complex still life painting. This painting would normally take 110 hours. In about 30 minutes, I will compress this into the key points and techniques that go into creating a still life painting in watercolor realism.

I will show how I create the range of grays that allow me to paint crystal and silver. I will show how I mix my blacks and how I apply them to achieve the maximum amount of density and color saturation.

Along the way, I will share many tips on how to make your painting process easier, more satisfying and therefore more fun.
