Tell us about your most embarrassing Chamber moment. After working many years at the Aiken Chamber of Commerce, as Vice President at the Columbia County Chamber, during my first ribbon cutting, I welcomed a huge crowd and thanked them for attending on behalf of the Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce. Which Chamber Executive has had the biggest impact on your career and how? David Jameson, President/CEO, at the Aiken Chamber of Commerce has been my mentor, coach, and my friend.
What is your Chamber's signature event?
Our Annual Meeting is our signature event. We run a high energy themed event in January. The event features VIP reserved seating options, awards, an amazing menu, plenty of beverages, and great entertainment. Get your tickets early, this one sells out fast!
What is your favorite Georgia destination outside of the one you represent and why?
Augusta. I am a huge golf fan and there is a really nice golf course in Augusta that I like to visit each year in April.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an Evangelist.
