As we entered into the season of Lent, a time of repentance and remembrance of what Christ sacrificed for us, we feel blessed to look forward to the day of celebration. Many Christians give up something during Lent but a new trend is to give back - "Freely you have received; freely give." Matthew 10:8. To go along with CUW's mission of service, CUW students are doing their second annual week of service, March 6th through March 17th.  Our alumni serve in their communities and congregations throughout the world.  We would love to hear your stories of service. You can post an update on the new CUW alumni platform, CUWConnect.com.  We also are here to serve you, our alumni. There are many resources available to you: career services, discounts, library access, professional development, and each other.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please email me at [email protected]. In the meantime, please review the updates below and on CUWConnect.com.

Concordia College
Concordia College Class of 1967
Golden Reunion Celebration
May 11th  - 13th

The Concordia College Class of 1967 produced graduates of strong faith, including the first female graduates, that have gone on to do great works for Christ in the Church and in the world.

The class committee of  Evelyn (Netz) Baesch, Rev. Andrew Dzurovcik, Terry Donovan and Joann (Lowery)  Mueller are busy planning a memorable  and enjoyable reunion to include, a tour of Concordia College, celebration service, dinner, Concordia University update by President Ferry and a special class recognition during the Baccalaureate service.

In recognition of this reunion and what this class has accomplished, the class representatives have decided to raise money for a $25,000 endowment to benefit juniors or seniors at Concordia University Wisconsin who have chosen a major in church work. Watch for your invitation in the mail or click here for more information and to RSVP. We also encourage you to post photos and comments on the reunion event on the Concordia University Wisconsin Alumni Facebook page.
A Family Called to Nursing

Dr. Kemba McCain and daughter, Deshawntae Griffins, both received their nursing degrees from Concordia University Wisconsin. But it is not just them, three other family members also received their nursing degrees from CUW. Read about their story in the most recent School of Nursing e-newsletter,   "The Pulse" and other articles on faculty, students and programs. Even if you are not a nursing graduate, there are inspiring stories on how our students and faculty are serving the community.
