Why I Chose Dementia Care

At a time when I experienced loss and tragedy, I had wonderful therapists help me  and  motivated m e  to become a therapist .  After spending time  with elderly and terminally ill individuals I  felt  that they  were in greater need for  care, compassion and empathy.

My Favorite Part of OPICA

At OPICA I hold hands with my clients, look in their eyes, hug them, dance with them, and really, really get to know them. Being here is therapeutic for me.
