Children's Department Spring 2017 Newsletter
Spring Storytime Sessions @ the Library

Pre-registration for the Spring Storytime session runs Monday, March 6th through Friday, March 10th. Spring Storytime will run from the week of March 13th through the week of April 17th.

NEW for 2017, register online by going to the library's website www.cclsys.org and clicking on "Children's Department" > "Storytime." You can also register in-person or over the phone by calling (814) 536-5131 ext. 205. A $1 donation per child is requested at the time of the program.

A limit of 15 children per class is enforced to ensure that all children and families receive the best possible experience. Waiting lists are maintained for any registered storytime that has filled to capacity. Should a child miss two weeks in a row (excluding illness, emergency, or prearranged approval), their position may be given to the first child on the waiting list for that storytime. The library encourages families of children who may be on a waiting list to attend drop-in storytimes and other programs that do not require registration.

Early Literacy Tip:
Turn everyday objects into opportunities to learn. Cut up pieces of a straw and have your child help you form them into letters. Can your child spell out his or her name using pieces of the straw?
