"Ashes-to-Go": Reach Out to the Community
Wednesday, March 1
Are you are interested in being sent into the city with ashes to touch many in affirmation of their spiritual journeys? Ash Wednesday introduces the 40-day solemn season of Lent, a time of reflection, repentance, and resolve. The imposition of ashes on that day is an ancient reminder that "we are dust, and to dust we shall return." Many who don't know about our services or cannot attend on that day would still like to observe it. It has truly been a memorable experience for all who have participated in the past. We will have a sign up table after the services beginning Sunday. INFO: Pat Kreder at Grandykreder@gmail.com.
