Prime Time Family
BDL is honored to have been chosen to be a "Prime Time Family" site through a grant by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities.

Prime Time gathers up to 25 families with children ages 5-10 who are interested in participating in this 6 week literacy program which also includes members of each child's immediate family - siblings of all ages!

This FREE program will take place on Mondays from September 25th through October 30th, from 5:30-7pm. Dinner will be included as well as lots of books, prizes, and fun! Contact Alexa Wright, Youth Director at 231-582-7861, or email [email protected] for more information.

Registration forms available at www.boynelibrary.org/registrations.

Great Stories Club
The BDL has won a grant from the American Library Association to sponsor a reading club with local at risk teens. We have chosen to work with the Morgan-Shaw School in Boyne City. Teens will receive their own copies of three books which we will read together and discuss. This year's topic "Teen Violence and Suicide" should prove to be an important topic of discussion!
