Renovation of Memorial Pool is coming along

Top: The pool house has new siding.
Bottom: Looking across the pool to the Dew Drop water feature and zero depth entry.

Construction crews have been busy at Memorial Pool making improvements and changes to be ready to open the pool Memorial Day weekend. A zero depth entry has been added with a Dew Drop Water Feature for the little kids. The L-shaped pool will also feature a fun slide for the kids. The restrooms/changing areas have all been updated and include shower stalls, changing stalls and even a handicapped access shower. There will be a 40'X35' sunshade area for protection from the sun. There will be an additional area to rent for parties that will have shade and tables. Sandy Tomazic, Rentals Coordinator for the Rec Center is currently booking dates for summer swim parties. Contact her at [email protected].
