As we enter the season of Lent, we encourage you to engage in spiritual disciplines to discern God's presence and action in the world around us.  To assist you with such practices, we have created prayer stations for you to visit in the Rec Hall during the season of Lent so that you might quiet your minds and hear God's word. Please join us for these brief sessions of contemplation and meditation before dinner on Wednesday evenings (5:30-6 pm) beginning March 8th. 
Wednesday Night Fellowship
"Camp Grier!  How I love ya, how I love ya!"  For many generations, Camp Grier has been the camp of choice for many members of our congregation.  Please join us for Wednesday Night Fellowship on March 8th to hear representatives of Camp Grier share about their ministry of providing spiritually and physically nourishing camp experiences for all children, regardless of income.  Find out about programs your children or grandchildren may enjoy and how you might support the critical mission of our beloved Presbyterian camp!
Menu:  Shepherd's pie, broccoli, salad, fruit, dessert. Note: no separate kids menu will be served on this night.
Todd Hobbie Sunday School Class

From March 12th through Palm Sunday, join the Todd Hobbie class for a study organized around some of Walter Brueggemann's recent Lenten sermons. Taught by Peter Bynum, the class meets each Sunday morning in Davis Hall at 9:45 a.m.
Church Retreat
It's not too late to sign up for the Church Retreat at Kanuga Conference Center, March 31 - April 2, 2017. The registration deadline has been extended to March 10th .  This promises to be a great weekend, and we really want you to be a part of it. If cost is a factor in your decision, please contact Lynne or Rachel to tailor a cost that works with your budget.

Invite a  friend to join you,  and consider bringing a VIP who might not have  transportation.  To all young fathers: do the right thing and take the children out to lunch so your wives can join us for a little nurturing!    Reservations are due by March 6th.
Child care will be provided.
