By decision of the vestry, gathering for Sunday worship at this church site ceased nearly 2 years ago although St. John's has maintained a substantial presence in the Norristown community through the operation of the largest daily soup kitchen in Norristown on its campus. In cooperation with the deanery, look for the rebirth of Sunday Eucharist at St. John's.
Noon Day Prayer, on the first Wednesday of the month led by Deacon Dennis Coleman, has been well received by those coming for lunch at the soup kitchen and office workers at the Norristown courthouse (across the street) enjoying the beauty and quiet of the space.
Additional new beginnings, along the "start up, start over" theme, are in the works for this gem of a church!
