The mission of the National Deer Alliance is to serve as the guardian of wild deer conservation and our hunting heritage.

Did You Know?

We will be traveling to Spokane, WA next week for the 82nd North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference. The "North American" is a regular gathering of professionals to learn and exchange ideas, through a formal program, related meetings and other scheduled business, social and educational events.
NDA Member Survey

Last week in our survey we inquired first about the total number of deer our members each killed during the 2016/17 season. To our surprise, we found that the largest group of people - 31% of respondents - did not kill a single deer, and another 29% killed only one deer. From there the numbers dropped dramatically, with 18% killing two deer, and about 10% killing three or four. We next asked about what weapons were used, to kill deer and not surprisingly, a rifle was used by the largest contingent - 54% of respondents. Another 38% used a compound bow, 21% used a muzzleloader and 20% used a crossbow.

This Week's Survey

This week we'd like to learn a little bit more about the "why" behind the harvest numbers you shared last week. Please take our survey today to help us better understand what led to your success, or lack thereof, during the 2016/17 season.
