When it comes to clothing donations, one of the greatest needs and most overlooked items in homeless shelters is underwear. We often take for granted the quiet dignity one gets from having clean underwear.
Mundies Undies is a drive for new unopened packs of underwear and is sponsored by the Mundelein Church of the Nazarene and the Mundelein Police Department. They have drop off bins at their locations and you may also drop underwear donations at Fremont Township. The donations will go to PADS and The Midwest Veterans Closet. Click here for more information.
