Simply stated, every business of every size faces cybersecurity risks.  Personnel files are saved electronically.  Payroll is processed online.  Business is transacted by email.  And although large data breaches at the biggest companies get the headlines, small and medium sized businesses are the most frequent victims of cyber-attacks.  This new reality makes it critical for every business to understand its legal obligations to safeguard data and respond to data breaches.

Please join the cybersecurity attorneys
at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP as we discuss:

  • The ever-evolving landscape of governmental regulations affecting your data security obligations
  • The policies and agreements businesses should have in place to defend against cyber attacks
  • The best practices a business should maintain to secure its computer network
  • The specific steps a business needs to take if it experiences a data breach
