Join us for some COOL  reads and HOT treats! Save the date for our biggest event of the year - our 2nd Annual Celebrity Chili Cook-Off! On Saturday, Oct. 1st, local celebrity chefs will be battling it out to win title for BEST CHILI. Take a peek below to see what else we are showcasing at the event:
Stop, Drop and Roll....

Come and meet our local fire fighters! The South Placer Fire Department will be at our Chili Cook-Off with their big ladder fire truck. Bring the kids and learn about the team of highly trained and dedicated professionals who are committed to the well being of our community. 

Meet Dinger from the River Cats

Any River Cats fans in the house? Dinger, the Sacramento River Cat's mascot, will be stopping by to join the festivities! In anticipation of meeting Dinger, the Granite Bay Library will have a coloring contest featuring a cartoon of Dinger. We can't wait to proudly showcase the artwork at the library!

Musical Guest: Auburn Road

Auburn Road, a 3-girl country/pop vocal group from Sacramento will be our musical guest! The band takes its name from a stretch of Auburn-Folsom Road in Granite Bay, the area in which the ladies routinely rehearsed for over two years after officially becoming a band.

Raffle & Prizes

Local business have generously donated hundreds of dollars worth of prizes. We will be raffling off these prizes and holding a silent auction during the cook-off. 
Mark S. Allen to MC the event!

Celebrity MC Mark S. Allen, a 3-time Emmy Award winning television presenter and movie critic, will help us jump start the fun!
