Carl Casper's Farewell Show

It is hard to believe that after 55 years, the Carl Casper Auto Show has come to an end. FCCC has been participating in this show since 1985! Over the years, we have really come a long way with our displays from simple hand-painted backdrops to complicated computer generated ones. We have had incredible themes such as "Dancing with the Stars", "Corvette...The Real Survivor", and "Corvette Salutes America's Heroes". I would be scared to think how much we have spent and how many hours we have put into our displays. In the end, it is not about the money-it's about the feeling of hearing our club's name called and going on stage to receive the 1st place plaque and the money that goes with it. When you are in competition with 20 other clubs, it feels good to be #1. We have been very fortunate over the years losing only 4 times and we had another winning display this year based on a bar and the theme "Last Call." None of this could happen without the great membership of FCCC. You all have been there year after year with your ideas, your money, and your hard work helping to build the winning displays. I want to thank you for all your help. Speaking for myself, it is going to be strange next February not going to the Fairgrounds after 32 years. Thank each and every one of you for making all this possible!

We are Crusin'

Some amazing effort has been put into getting a phenomenal location for this years cruise. For this first time ever we have a CASH bar that will be available, full service restaurant, and more.

At a time or two (depending on an event at the Kosair building) club member parking will be limited to AWAY from the building. Please respect the other people who have rented out the building so that we can use this venue for years to come.

A Board member will let you know if your car or yourself needs to move.  Again, this is an agreement we have made with Kosairs and we told them it would NEVER be an issue that would ever come up.

The Car show is all setup. The flyers are printed.

We are honored to support the Louisville Metro officers & Families Relief Fund again this year.

It was a blast last year, the live auction was a success and we will only going to make it better this year for the police officers and their families.

Mark your calendar for June 11th and make sure you promote the show.

The annual FCCC Gatlinburg trip to Corvette Expo

Please join us in a weekend of fun with something for everyone. Our weekend will start on Thursday March 16th, meeting at Mile Marker 29 at the rest stop just past Simpsonville off I-64 East at 8:00am. We will be leaving at 8:30am sharp heading towards Gatlinburg TN.

We will be stopping to eat at Cracker Barrel in Corbin KY for breakfast. From there we will continue to make our way into Gatlinburg and check into the hotel (Mountain House Motor Inn) around 2:00 - 3:00 that afternoon.  From there you can enjoy the town or just relax for the afternoon.

On Friday we will be heading to the "Tail of the Dragon" in the morning to enjoy a great day on the "Tail". There are several additional drives available as well from the Gift Shop so feel free to enjoy as you please.

From there Friday is up to whatever you would like. The official Corvette Expo starts Friday at the Sevierville Convention Center in Pigeon Forge. Saturday we will plan on going to the Expo. If interested they have a amazing auction and swap meet, worth taking a stopping in to see.

We plan on cruising, in the cars, up and down the strip a couple times both Friday & Saturday nights. It is a blast and people love it every year.

The overall trip should provide something for everyone.  Shopping, eating, driving a famous road, killer car show and whatever else Gatlinburg TN has to offer.

If interested please let Mike Brown know ASAP. We have 30 rooms blocked, they will go fast, so please call to make you reservations at the following number, 865-436-6626.

Make sure you let them know your with Falls City Corvette Club to get your pricing at our discounted rate.
