Friends of the Granite Bay Library
, you help support our most valuable community resource.
Established in 1990, Friends of the Granite Bay Library was formed to help Placer County fund and build a new, permanent library location. The permanent building was completed in 1995, and Friends continues to raise funds to support programs, materials and services offered by the library.
Through memberships, fundraising events and donations, we have provided over $300,000 in funding so far. If you share our passion and excitement for contributing to our local Library, we invite you to becoming a Member and join us for breakfast on Friday, August 5th or Saturday, August 6th at 9am.
Members enjoy early access to book sales, discounted tickets to events and free admission to our Annual Membership Appreciation Event.
There will be many 1st editions and original prints available this year thanks to our generous donors.
