Have you seen the elk on the Eagle River Preserve this year?
,

Elk wintering in the Eagle River Preserve, conserved by EVLT in 2005.
Observing wildlife has a calming effect. As I cross country skied on the Homestead Open Space last month, I noticed finches darting from tree to tree and I felt a great calmness. Did you notice the elk on the Eagle River Preserve last month (pictured)? I stopped by to view the elk and it was the highlight of my week.

Your support helps us conserve these great places for all future generations. Thank you!

Eagle Valley Land Trust is excited to announce our Community Land Connection Series in collaboration with our conservation partners throughout Eagle County.

Each month we team up with another organization to lead a hike on a permanently conserved property.

This series serves as an opportunity to a ppreciate this beautiful place that we share with the wildlife living here. Each hike is an opportunity to learn about Eagle County and ask questions of local experts. Learn more here
