CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS 
TO  PARTICIPATE IN HART'S POSTER CONTEST

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) would like to invite all high school students to participate in its "Connecting Communities" 2017 Honolulu Rail Transit Project Art Poster Contest.

HART encourages all 9th through 12th grade student -artists to share their vision of how the rail project will be a catalyst for connecting people, culture, commerce and recreation. 

The deadline to submit entries is Friday, April 14 at 4:30 p.m. All entries must be delivered or mailed to HART's downtown office at 1099 Alakea Street, Suite 1700, Honolulu, HI 96813. 

Winners will be announced in May and entries will be displayed in Kapolei Hale. For more information about the contest and to download an entry form visit the  HART website

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) invites you to join us for information displays and keiki activities. Each area will be staffed by a member of the HART or Contractor team who will be available for discussion and questions.
  • View video displays of our station renderings and the entire rail route from a "fly over" perspective.
  • Participate in fun keiki activities including puzzles, rail trivia bingo, train bookmarks and more.
  • Get project updates from contractor Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc. regarding the rail stations being built along Farrington Highway
This event is family-friendly with no formal presentation so the public may stop by at any time between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
