Dear UUCR worshippers,
You may have heard through the grapevine that a major problem developed this week with the Sanctuary boiler. A part has been sourced from out-of-state and it may take 7-10 days for repairs to be completed. Only the Sanctuary and Community Hall (downstairs) is impacted. We will worship in Fellowship Hall tomorrow, and next Sunday if necessary, so that everyone will be warm. Staff is working to pivot and accommodate shifts in religious education class locations.
Flexibility is the key to every sport!
We regret that the choir experienced the chilly rehearsal in the first hours of the heating failure on Thursday. We are blessed to have Fellowship
Hall in which to worship and celebrate Commitment Sunday. We have lots to celebrate and to share, and the music will be fabulous! If a few people can come early to help us set up chairs in Fellowship Hall, that would be welcome.
