USCIS Temporarily Suspends Premium Processig for H-1B Petitions

On 03/03/2017 the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS) announced that it would suspend the premium processing service for all H-1B petitions received by the USCIS starting Monday, April 3, 2017.  This suspension will be in effect for up to 6 months.

This means that no H-1B cap-subject petitions may be filed under premium processing.

This will also impact all other H-1B petition filed on or after April 3, including changes of employer, extensions and amendments.  However, premium processing for other petitions (I-140s, TNs, L-1s, etc.) is not being suspended

The complete details are in the attached USCIS announcement.

We will individually contact all clients/employees who have provided premium processing checks for H-1B cap-subject cases and will either return or destroy those checks, as instructed by each individual.
