3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Venice Centre Mall Community Room, 238 Tampa Avenue
(West of the building with access from the building's parking lot.)
Parking for the event is in Centennial Park across Tampa from the building.

3 p.m. Mystery writer David Bishop presents "Keys to Writing a Successful Novel." Bishop is author of 14 novels and short stories and is a native of Washington, D.C. To learn more about him and his books, visit davidbishopbooks.com

4:30 p.m. Thriller writer David Hagberg continues his master series for writers with sage advice for creating memorable characters - both the good guys and the bad guys. Previous attendance not required.

6:00 p.m. Wine and Cheese Reception

6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Cape Coral Police Department certified latent fingerprint examiner and crime scene investigator and former forensic scientist for the Cleveland coroner's office, Lisa Black, presents "Real Live CSIs - Fact vs Fiction." Black has written numerous mysteries and is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and International Thriller Writers.

Authors will be selling and signing their latest books.
At 10:30 a.m. Diane Gilbert Madsen will talk about writing mysteries;
At 1:00 p.m. Frye Gaillard will read from his book "Go South to Freedom;"
At 1:30 p.m. area elementary students will read their creative writings,

Just a reminder that the East Venice Avenue Dairy Queen still provides Venice Heritage with 10% of their proceeds generated between 5 and 8 pm on the second Wednesday of each month. Enjoy a treat and support Venice Heritage.
