Leadership Strategies For Navigating Change 

Please accept the invitation to an afternoon and evening of engaging conversation on  “Thinking outside the Box : Leadership strategies navigating change”.

The proposed session will provide an opportunity to not only share perspectives from national, regional, local leaders and decision makers but act on some of the most challenging issues continuing to surround social justice and identify areas that would be best addressed through a unified, cooperative and a collaborative effort.

By asking the tough questions, we are hoping to continue the conversations & actions and make a long term commitment to collaboratively work together and make an impact change.

Chairman John Eaves is the Chair of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. He will discuss about collaborative leadership and it’s positive impact on citizens. He is the Cochair for the Justice Coordinating Committee.

Chief Guest Justice Markandey Katju

  

Justice Katju is the Former Justice of the Supreme Court of India and the former Chairman, Press Council of India. His talk will focus on the vision for the Indian Subcontinent and innovative justice reform strategies.

Nazeera Dawood

Nazeera Dawood, is currently the Chief of Staff at the Chairman’s Office at Fulton County Board of Commissioners.

Cynthia D. Ritchie

Cynthia D. Ritchie will discuss her experience as a world traveler. Cynthia Ritchie has traveled around Pakistan and meticulously navigated the country’s social, political, and cultural layers.

Akbar Chaudry

Akbar Chaudry is an aspirational stand up comedian who believes that having a sense of humour in a time of crisis is what helps you survive.

Rashid Naim is a Principal Senior Lecturer in the Political Science Department at Georgia State University. Dr. Naim’s areas of research and specialization are International Relations and South Asian politics.
