As an attendee of The Forum 2017, you have a unique opportunity to meet in person with members of Congress for advocacy conversations that focus legislators' attention on the work being done in your communities and regions. We are pleased to provide you with our Hit the Hill Toolkit for 2017. The toolkit items are designed to help you plan and prepare for your visit to the Hill.  The Legislative Priorities document represents the issues that NAWB feels are most critical to our conversations this year; they may be used to develop speaking points and then used as a 'leave behind' piece that accompanies any local data and impacts you are sharing.

Meetings with your Members of Congress must be planned before you arrive in DC. There are immediate steps that you need to take prior to getting to The Forum to prepare you for a productive meeting with your policy makers.  During your visit, remember to take a photo to share with NAWB!
