   Program update
Program Staff has been working hard to make and support amazing mentoring relationships across the state! At the end of 2016, we had grown our Site-Based Programs by 30% compared to the year before. In 2016, we focused on assessing every nuance of our service delivery to ensure that we are performing with a high level of quality and we look forward to what 2017 will bring.

Please help us spread the word!
In many of our towns (including Nashua, Portsmouth, Keene and Manchester), we need to recruit more Little Sisters! If you know of a family that could use our services, please have them contact Jolene Felix, Intake Coordinator, at info@bbbsnh.org or
1-844-NH4-BIGS.

Also, we're always looking for male mentors in all of our regions so if you know of a few good men who would be interested in becoming a mentor, have them contact Jolene as well!

   Waiting List Little
Benny is eight years old and lives with his mother. His mom wants him to have a Big Brother because his father passed away in 2015 due to a heroin overdose and he needs a male role model. Mom describes Benny's personality as talkative, funny, happy and energetic. His strengths are dancing, singing, drawing and playing tennis. She wants him to learn how to be part of a team, work with others, and have more self-confidence.

Benny says he loves video games, basketball, tennis, baseball, and does not like lacrosse. He enjoys building things, likes school, loves recess but does not like Math. He does think school is important so that he can learn new things. He's a little nervous to meet his Big Brother, but is looking forward to spending time with him painting, playing video games, sports, going outside, swimming and riding bikes!
If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about becoming a Big, visit www.bbbsnh.org, call 1-844-NH4-BIGS, or email info@bbbsnh.org.

    In the Spotlight

"Our company is extremely passionate about supporting groups, like BBBS, who are dedicated to mentoring at-risk youth," says David Roedel of Roedel Companies, LLC.  "I served on the Nashua board for years and only removed myself once I identified another member of my team who was willing to step up and join the board in my absence.  I did not feel comfortable stepping down unless a real connection with Roedel Cos remained.  Martin LeGay has done a great job representing our company ever since.

"Our company adheres to Core Values, one of which reads - We are leaders in the communities we serve.  These are not just words, these statements represent a commitment to an ideology and belief system.  BBBS provides a fantastic opportunity to adhere to our values while supporting an organization that does unbelievable work."

Thank you to Roedel Companies!
