Dear Covenant friends and family,

Dear Covenant friends and family,
Do you ever miss what you are looking for, even though you may be staring right at it? Or how about when you are looking at someone and think you know pretty much who they are, but do not really see or appreciate the truth of them?
We miss a lot, seeing things only with our earthly eyes. When the world is acting crazy, it may be more important than ever for us to learn to see with the eyes of the Spirit. How can we see God's presence in the midst of chaos and uncertainty?
Jesus and a few of his disciples went up on the mountaintop for a retreat, and suddenly they saw him in all his radiant glory - the same guy they had been walking around with for quite some time [ Luke 9:28-36]. The issue for them was then, how could they keep that glory in mind after the retreat was over and they were back in the streets of the city?
Sunday we will use the gift of imagination to see things a little differently. Dave Powers is joining us at  8:30 and 11:00 as well as playing during the annual Pancake Breakfast. Don''t miss it!

Grace and peace,
Tracy
