CAMA Manitoba Lunch & Learn

Guest Speaker:  Dave KelnerNorth American Canola Portfolio Manager, Monsanto Canada Inc.

Topic: Launching a New Canola Product

CAMA Manitoba invites you to attend our lunch & learn with Dave Kelner of Monsanto.

Topic Overview:
The launch of a new canola hybrid is a process that begins several years before the product is actually introduced.  Breeding programs need to have a thorough understanding of changing market needs and trends to ensure the products they deliver are still relevant when commercialized.  This presentation will touch on how breeding, product management, and marketing teams work together to successfully launch new canola products.

About Dave Kelner
Dave is the North American canola portfolio manager for Monsanto and has been with the organization for nine years.  Previous roles include technology development lead for Western Canada and prior to that field agronomist with ag retail and weed specialist with the province of Manitoba.  Dave lives in Winnipeg with his wife Nancy and enjoys most things outdoors, in particular golfing and hunting.
