Hello GCHS!
There will be some new recommended vaccinations for the 2017-18 school year for grades 6-12.  These recommended vaccinations will become required for the 2018-19 school year.  I have attached the recommendations/requirements.  Please make a note to have your child receive these immunizations, if appropriate, and send the documentation to my office.  If you have any questions, please contact my office at [email protected].

 
Parent Guild Update

It's almost Prom time!
Enchanted Evening , will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at The Bridgewater Club, from 8:00pm -  12:00 am
Ticket Price $30 each
* Price includes:  Admission, Light Snacks,  Photo package by Bob Nichols (two 5 x 7's,  four wallets and access code for social media downloads).

Lenten Adoration

Service Hours 
All Service Hours are due on by May 7th. Remember you 30 hours total -- at least 18 of those hours are to be done through Parish activities. The other 12 can be completed through GCHS or the community. Hours are submitted on Canvas via your "Class Of" page. Indiana Education Expenses Deduction
If you have a dependent child enrolled in K-12 private school or who is home-schooled, you 
may qualify for an Indiana Unreimbursed Education Expense deduction based on education 
expenditures for that child. Expenditures include tuition, fees, textbooks, and school supplies. 
If you are eligible, this deduction is $1,000 per qualified dependent. Details can be found in

With tax season nearly upon us, FACTS Tuition Management would like to remind you of a 
feature which enables you to quickly and easily create a payment summary. 
By simply logging into your FACTS Tuition Management account and clicking "View 
Printable Payments Summary" on the Payments tab, you can retrieve and print a summary of payments for the 2016 year or any other specified timeframe. Each payment summary contains the date range, family name, and subaccounts. This valuable enhancement is 
sure to help simplify your 2016 tax filing process.

Physicals at SVSP 
GC Athletes are encouraged to obtain their annual physicals through St.Vincent Sports Performance.   Attached is the flier detailing dates, locations and times.    
 
 

Girls Lacrosse 
The girls LAX team will be doing a service projects at the SMG Food Pantry and Alternatives Inc. These organizations assist people in our community in great need or who have been victims of domestic abuse. We will be collecting donations through March 24th. The items needed are:
 
  • Cereal
  • Canned Pineapple
  • Deodorant
  • Shampoo 
  • Conditioner
  • Ethic Hair Products
  • Brushes
  • Combs
  • "Spring" items - toys, candy and basket items
