Valentines"A Swingin' Affair" Valentine's Gala Raises More Than $30,000

We had an amazing night at the 2017 "A Swingin' Affair" Valentine's Gala!  Thanks to all our members who bought raffle tickets, donated wine, made desse rts, donated auction items, or loaned items to make it an unforgettable night.  Due to your generosity, we are proud to announce we will donate more than $30,000 to Wellspring Living!

We welcomed more than 100 guests who enjoyed dinner and dancing with the Atlanta Soul Band. Emcee Jeff Cashman and his handsome assistants really motivated the crowd to give generously to Wellspring Living.  Executive Director Mary F rances Bowley and special guest Gabby Humphries spoke to the guests about
the amazing work Wellspring Living does in our community.
We work very hard to try to keep the costs down for this event while still raisin g a nice sum for the charity.  Any feedback about our Charity fund-raising events is alway s welcomed.

A huge thank you to our sponsors for the evening:

Our February meeting at Olea Oliva! (Olive Tree) at The Avenue was truly a wonderful experience!  Dilip and Smita Daya are very gracious hosts with an abundance of knowledge about olive oils, balsamic vinegars and spices.  I think we all learned a great deal from them and will most likely be frequenting their shop looking for more information and products to improve our nutrition.

On Tuesday, March 21 we will be joined by our own Jane Schlachter, a family and personal injury attorney. Jane has a wealth of knowledge in these areas and welcomes requests on topics under this umbrella that we would like her to address.  Please let me know in advance what may be of interest to you, or come to the meeting with questions for Jane.  Our location has not yet been set. If you would like to host, please let Patricia or Beth know.   RSVP to [email protected] or [email protected].
