THE REAL MCKENZIES & EMMET CAHILL
ON STAGE AT ST. AUGUSTINE
CELTIC MUSIC & HERITAGE FESTIVAL

St. Augustine, FL - Celtic music will take center stage by The Real McKenzies, the headlining band at the 7th Annual St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage. Also on the main stage, Emmet Cahill returns to entertain the crowds.

Voted the Best Festival in St. Augustine and the 2016 winner of Jacksonville's Bold City Best Concert/Event, the annual festival is set for March 10-12, 2017 at Francis Field in downtown St. Augustine.

THE REAL MCKENZIES

Founded in 1992, The Real McKenzies bring together the sounds of "soaring bagpipes and ferocious electric guitars." The group is known for performing cover songs with a twist - altered slightly, to fit a Scottish theme - with a punk rock style. This is the group's first appearance in St. Augustine.

And, of course, band members wear kilts while rocking on stage. Members include Paul McKenzie on vocals; Jono Ja on guitar and vocals; Dan Garrison, also on guitar and vocals; Troy Zak on bass and vocals; Dan Stenning on drums; Aspy Luison on bagpipes and vocals; Matt McNasty on bagpipes and vocals; and Gord Taylor on bagpipes and vocals.

EMMET CAHILL

As former Celtic Thunder lead singer, Emmet Cahill just released a new solo album on Feb. 24. This Irish Tenor will perform songs from his album, along with Irish favorites, at the St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival.
