The American Conference on Diversity, in collaboration with Kean University, held a "No Hate" Town Hall to engage in diversity and inclusion dialog related to current issues impacting people in New Jersey and across the nation.
The Women's March on Washington kicked off protests for justice and inclusion all across the globe. Please share your photos of you in action advocating for diversity.
What does advocacy mean for the work we have to do around diversity and inclusion?
Special thanks to everyone that join our LFD Conference Call following the election. Your insight to what was happening at your schools was extremely critical to us and our efforts.
Meet Christian Fuscarino, Executive Director Garden State Equality.
Christian has deep roots in New Jersey, growing up in Belmar and spending much of his youth in and around Asbury Park. Fuscarino has been an activist and organizer in the LGBT community for over a decade. He credits his positive experiences in Asbury Park as helping influence him to become an activist. In 2016, PolitickerNJ named Christian the 2nd most influential advocate in New Jersey politics and later that year The Observer listed him on the Power List 100.
