Emergency Food and Shelter Program Grant Opportunity
Our Local EFSP Board recently announced that Phase 34 applications will be made available starting Monday, February 13, 2017, at www.unitedwaypbc.org under "Get Help - Nonprofit Resources". This decision has been made even though the EFSP National Board still has not allocated funds to any local jurisdictions. That means our Local Board still does not know how much money Palm Beach County will be getting for Phase 34. We have been in communication with the National Board, and our County does anticipate receiving an award similar to Phase 33. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Local Board is unsure when the official EFSP Award Notice will be received.
The deadline for completed Phase 34 applications to be submitted is 12:00 (NOON) on Friday, March 10, 2017. All submissions must be returned to United Way of Palm Beach County, 477 South Rosemary Avenue, Suite 230, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 (and in my possession). Though mailed-in submissions are allowed, hand-delivered submissions are strongly suggested. NO LATE PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
