It is my great pleasure to share with you that the Board of Directors has engaged Melissa Brookes as the Interim Executive Director of Arts Schools Network.

Ms. Brookes is quite familiar with ASN. Prior to this engagement, she held the position of Regional Director of After School Matters and Gallery 37, an after school arts program in Chicago that became a model for city arts across the country. Ms. Brookes also served as Director of Admissions and Marketing and Director of Global Partnerships and Marketing at Chicago Academy for the Arts. Most recently she served as Director of Strategic Partnerships and Thought Development at Idyllwild Arts Foundation and was a Research Associate for Connor Associates.

 

ASN's Board of Directors is analyzing its programs and offerings to ensure that we provide the greatest possible value to our members. With continued threats to arts and education, ASN's mission to serve arts school leaders across the country is more important than ever.
