This week's survey

Last week's survey results...

Do you travel to any international trade expo's and if so, which one(s) would you recommend?:
  • Not often. I did do a FESPA in Europe once. I only managed it because I was in Europe at the same time so it was more coincidental. Can't say I would pay to visit an overseas show again - our own shows are just as good. A bit smaller but you don't generally want to see products that are not supported in our region.
  • No we do not.
  • I visited Biejing some years ago for one of their big shows. It was absolutely enormous with individual halls being allocated to different sectors. The English language was a huge problem for most of the Chinese exhibitors.
  • No but our bosses do, especially when they want to make a big purchase. I guess it makes sense for them if they are going to spend a million or maybe more, then they want to see the machine in action, maybe get a factory visit and possibly have all expenses paid by the supplier.
  • Yes, only when we can combine it with a European holiday but not otherwise.

(As a publishing practice to protect ourselves from any potential liability, company and individual names that are referred to negatively in any of these comments are removed.
In addition we reserve the right to remove comments that are blatant advertising for one product or company)
