Last week's survey results...

Has signwriting lost its "fun factor" with the advances of technology in the industry?
- No!... although the brush work has died off the manufacturing side of routering 3D, LED illumination and amazing graphic prints for walls and windows. Only your imagination holding you back. (Luke, Queensland Signage Solutions)
- Yep, Its nice to design something good looking for a client, however the general run of signage is printed and vinyl = boring.
Thank goodness we do heaps of hand painted signs, designs and murals - clients always respond in a positive way
- Yes and No, it is generally goodbye to the traditional stuff which is a pity but I personally enjoy the technology that we work with today.
(As a publishing practice to protect ourselves from any potential liability, company and individual names that are referred to negatively in any of these comments are removed.
In addition we reserve the right to remove comments that are blatant advertising for one product or company)

New Classified ad improvements
Printers and others who use our Classified ad pages to sell, buy, look for job applicants and sell their businesses will be pleased to know that we are in the process of restructuring the Wide Format Online magazine pages in order to offer you a huge increase in readership via Google and other search engines which should translate to more opportunities to sell your equipment, find a job, fill a vacancy, etc.
As an example, see the NSW Machinery listing for instance by
clicking here.
Unlike our news pages, which Google regularly broadcasts to all relevant readers, Google has not been able to find our Classified ads since they were all grouped into one page.
We have now improved that situation by putting each ad on its own page and updating our search engine criteria to help Google and other search engines find your ad and broadcast it to those who search for the relevant criteria (ie Roland, Mimaki, etc.,).
We are also now better placed to include a photograph in your ad - should you wish to include one.
We hope you will find this a great improvement in your usage of our Classified ad services.
