Five INHF projects awarded REAP grants
Six INHF projects were awarded REAP (Resource Enhancement and Protection program) grants this year. REAP grants help INHF complete protection projects that aid in protecting water sources, creating wildlife habitat, expanding conservation programs and maintaining land. INHF works in conjunction with county conservation boards to complete protection projects and acquire funding.

Wickiup Hill Natural Area
J ust 20 minutes from Iowa's second-largest city is a protected haven. Wetland, prairie, woodland and savanna ecosystems flourish amidst an urban community. Hundreds of plant, animal and insect species abound. Rare Indian mounds and miles of recreational trail welcome history buffs and thrill seekers alike.

INHF design interns are a vital part of INHF's outreach strategy. Interns work with every department to create display and handout materials, and complete special projects. Design interns gain experience working within an established brand and representing that brand to in-person and digital audiences.
