HOIST LIFT SPEED COMPARISON

Typically for electric chain hoists up to 1 ton capacity, the lift speeds offered are 8 FPM (feet per minute), 16 FPM and 32 FPM.  These are also offered as two speed with a typical 1 to 3 speed ratio such as 2 & 8 FPM, 5 & 16 FPM, and 10 & 32 FPM.

To help envision these lift speed we have created the above animation which compares a 16 FPM lift speed hoist to a 32 FPM lift speed hoist.
