Seventh Sunday After Epiphany
"We invite everyone to share communion around God's altar.
We strive to be a welcoming and relevant Christian community doing what matters through prayer, worship, teaching, outreach, fellowship, and service.
We will demonstrate the real life application of scripture, tradition, and
reason by providing a safe place to respond to each other's needs,
hurts, joys, and interests."

Resurrection Friends,
For the last ten years, I have been amazed at the pouring out of love, thoughtfulness, and support the people of this church exhibit. I praise God for leading Morris and I to Resurrection. He knew exactly where we belonged. Thank You to everyone who participated in Morris's Memorial service and reception. Both were a perfect way to celebrate a wonderful person's life. I am so blessed to have each of you in my life and thus, I am extending vast gratitude to you all from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
In Christ's Love,
Madeline

Hiking the Appalachian Trail
This past Valentine's Day, Larry and Kathy Holbrook's granddaughter, Olivia, started off from Springer Mt. on her solo thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Olivia plans to complete the 2,108.5 mi. trek from Springer Mt., Ga., to Mt. Katahdin, Maine, in six months. Olivia is 18 and chose to take a "gap year" after graduating from Dunwoody High last year in order to earn money and plan her hike this spring and summer. She was the 67th person this year to sign the thru-hike register and
start at Amicalola State Park on Tuesday morning. She will enroll at Ga. Tech upon completion of the trail in September.
