Please make sure that all medications are given to the nurse with doctors' prescription orders.MEDICATION REMINDER: Students are not permitted to carry on their person any medication with the exception of epi-pens and inhalers. Please make sure that all medications are given to the nurse with doctors' prescription orders.
DRESS CODE: On Friday 2/24/17, I addressed the students via CCTV. During my presentation, I reiterated the importance of dress code compliance and the consequences for failing to do so. As a way to help this effort, please review with your students the dress code requirements as outlined in the student handbook. Of a specific concern is that girls skirt need to be the appropriate length and that all boys need to be clean-shaven. Failure to comply with these and all other dress code requirements may lead to more serious consequences, including a parent conference. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

ALL PARENTS: TRANSPORTATION FUNDING-PLEASE READ
WE NEED YOUR VOICE!
Problem
1.
Current Catholic school students can only obtain a ride to school for a maximum of $884 per student.
2.
Many bus companies and school districts are unwilling/unable to transport students at the $884 rate.
3.
The ceiling should match cost of living increases, which has not happened since the 2007-2008 school year.
What can you do?
Ask Governor to increase funding for nonpublic school transportation in his Fiscal Year 2017 Budget. If your family has been affected by this problem, or you know of families who have, tell the Governor the details. Even if the bussing problem does not apply to you, but you believe in Catholic education, please contact Governor Christie.
How can you contact Governor Christie?

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: BUS FORMS & TUITION CONTRACT
Families in grades 9, 10, and 11 received a tuition contract and bus form in the mail last week. Homeroom teachers will be reminding students to bring these in. Please return these forms to school at your earliest convenience. The bus form especially is crucial to organizing transportation for the coming year.
|
Spring sports physicals are due to the nurse's office by March 2nd.
11th grade parents are reminded that all Juniors need a physical exam. If your child had a physical that's under one year old, please have a physical form completed by your doctor based on that physical. If your child hasn't had a recent physical, please schedule an appointment. Physical forms are available in the nurse's office and on the school website under "Athletics." The same form is used whether or not your child plays a sport. Please return completed forms as soon as possible. Please call the nurse with any questions.
