We have all heard the saying "Failure Is Not An Option" Today's quote comes from a student in my Entrepreneurship class at Indian River State College. Tyler wrote it in a recent assignment.
It rings so true. Most truly successful people do not entertain failure as a possibility. Rather, they focus on what must be done in order to succeed. Can you imagine what would have happened in last week's Super Bowl game if Tom Brady, when he was behind 28 - 3, had given up rather than continuing to pursue victory. His focus was on what the team needed to do to win.
There will always be difficulties. As Clint Eastwood said in Heartbreak Ridge, we need to "Improvise, Adapt and Overcome". Let's focus on succeeding (victory) as we go through our week. Failure is not an option!
