WAA Forward under 40 Award presented to Peter Tempelis
La Follette School alumnus Peter Tempelis (MPA, JD '06) received a Forward under 40 Award from the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA) on February 2. WAA President Paula Bonner presented the award to Tempelis, whom she described as a "paragon of professionalism."

3 faculty members receive research awards
UW-Madison's Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education (VCRGE) presented highly competitive awards to Director Don Moynihan (Kellett Award), Professor Jason Fletcher (Romnes Award), and Associate Professor Mark Copelovitch (Vilas Award).

La Follette students gain grant-writing skills
With funding from UW-Madison's Graduate School, more than 20 La Follette School students participated in a four-hour grant-writing seminar Thursday, Jan. 26. The La Follette School Student Association (LSSA) applied for the professional development grant and organized the seminar in response to student requests.
