Dragon Tales  Weekly Newsletter
February 9, 2017

Dear St. George Families,
There is a great deal of activity going on around our campus these days. As you see our new Church is in the final phase of construction. The pews should be installed beginning next week and the final touches are being completed. Our first school Mass is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, March 8th for the Feast of St. Joseph. What a blessing it will be to celebrate Mass, First Eucharist, and Confirmation in this amazing new building.
Our "Boots and Badges" Auction was a great success! We are truly blessed with an amazing community that always rises to the occasion when it comes to the needs of our Parish and School. Preliminary results show that the auction grossed over $150,000 this year! We all benefit when Parish and School work together. Because of Auction and Fair proceeds and last year's "Fund A Need" the covered student walkway is being constructed. Expected completion date of the walkway is within the next two weeks. This will be a great addition for getting to Church and pick up and drop off for carpool.
We have completed re-enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year. We have a limited number of openings in several grades including kindergarten. If you know of anyone that is interested in St. George please ask them to contact Charlene Lauman in the school office. Our school families are our best marketing tool!
Finally, we are working on the school calendar for the next school year and we should have it completed within the next couple of weeks. Our first day of school in the fall will be August 9th. I hope this helps with your summer plans.
God bless,
Jack Nelson

CARPOOL PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE

Students may not be dropped off in carpool line after the teachers
have left their duty posts.  Safety is our number one priority and students should always be under the supervision of an adult
.
Please report to the school office to check tardy students in to school.
