Principal Sam McKinney reinforces UCC's commitment to international values

Upper Canada College has a vibrant community of students from various countries and cultural backgrounds and is proud of its diverse population. This was reinforced recently by a statement from our Principal, Sam McKinney, issued the first school day following a January 29 terrorist attack on Muslims in a Quebec City mosque:

"The College remains committed to the understanding that we value individual differences and the strength and richness that our differences bring to our community. We will continue to promote this incredible strength as the events in Quebec City become part of our discussions this week. As we reflect on this tragedy we will consider how we can shape a better and more compassionate tomorrow."

In this time of great political change, Canadian boarding schools like UCC can offer students a respectul, welcoming and safe learning environment. Find out what makes UCC an ideal boarding destination.
