Western Arts Alliance Conference & Showcase Almost Here
waa info 2016

The Western Arts Alliance meets in Los Angeles from August 29 to Sept 1 this year. Attending will be 13 Western States including presenters, and artists and agents from all over the world. We will again have our own booth #215. Please come visit us there if you attend the conference. You can make an appointment by responding to this email or calling 213-385-1171, or just stop by! We just heard that there are 36 dance showcases in LA this time. We will be performing in the LA DanceFest showcases in 2 location. On Monday night, just an 8 minute walk for the conference center is Downtown Dance & Movement, 1144 S Hope St, 90015. You will have to leave that opening reception 10 minutes early to catch selections from CALL FROM THE AFTERLIFE and INVASION, a sci-fi story at 7:30 pm. If you should miss it, we are on again at 10:30! For WAA attendees, its free, and so convenient as well as a wonderful new dance space,  also serving free food and drinks.   On Tues night at 10:30, we showcase the same program at Brewery Arts Lofts-BPS, 618 B Moulton Ave, LA 90031, with free shuttles, free food, and free drinks! LA DanceFest also has other must-see dance, so plan on being there. Photos below from Booking Dance NYC at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Photographer: Yi-Chun Wu.
