Pass / No Pass

The last day to change a class from a letter grade to Pass/No Pass in MYRED is Friday, March 3rd.

A few things you should know about Pass/No Pass include:

  • NEVER change a class to Pass/No Pass without checking with your advisor first.
  • DSGN/ARCH/IDES/LARC courses are all REQUIRED to have a letter grade. Taking these subjects as Pass/No Pass is NOT an option.  (And all of these courses must be completed with a C or better.)
  • Required electives are all REQUIRED to have a letter grade.  These include courses like MATH, ENGL, COMM, HORT and Natural Science electives.  Taking these subjects as Pass/No Pass is NOT an option.  (Additionally these courses must be completed with a C or better.)
  • Some (ACE) electives (6, 8 and 9) may be taken as Pass/No Pass, but please consult with your advisor first.

SHOP CORNER
Students and faculty that use the shop on a regular basis may have noticed some changes taking place in the shop facility throughout this school year. Improvements to shop equipment, hardware availability, organization, room access/student identification and shop hours of operation are all areas where changes have been slowly rolled out. The primary topic being pinpointed for this week's newsletter is regarding the shop's hours of operation.  Due to the use and abuse of the facility over the last two semesters, hours of operation have changed to following:

Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
**Fridays may close early after 6 p.m. depending upon student use**
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
