Chamber University: Newly Revised Form I-9, Newly Increased Penalties...Is Your Business in Compliance?

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host a Chamber University seminar on "HR Hot Topic: Newly Revised Form I-9, Newly Increased Penalties...Is Your Business in Compliance?" on Tues., Feb. 28, from 8-11:30 a.m. at FirstBank & Trust Operations Center.  The seminar will focus on the newly revised Form I-9 to make sure that your business is in compliance with the changes. Attorney Ronn Garcia with the Underwood Law Firm will be the featured speaker at the seminar.

YEA! CEO Roundtable

YEA! Lubbock will host a CEO Roundtable on Thurs., Feb. 23, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Texas Tech Innovation Hub. Local CEOs will support the YEA! students' experience by sharing their entrepreneurial story. The CEO Roundtable will offer guidance and give direction to the class of 16 Young Entrepreneurs. This experience will have a significant impact on the students' ability to launch and run their REAL, albeit modest, business or non-profit organizations. The event is open to the public. 

Salute to Ag Luncheon March 21

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host a Salute to Ag Luncheon on Tues., March 21, at the Texas Tech McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center.  The Salute to Ag Luncheon recognizes and celebrates the abundance provided by agriculture and is held during the month of March on or around the time of National Ag Day.



The 2017 Total Resource Campaign (TRC) sponsorship renewals are underway. We thank you for your continued support of the Chamber and the TRC.

The annual Total Resource Campaign is an eight-week campaign that begins on February 16 and goes through April 14. Chamber volunteers will go into the business community to secure sponsorships for the upcoming year's Chamber events and programs.
